If you are reading this, welcome! This marks the launch of the AutoWerk brand. With over 20 years in the automotive enthusiast community, and more than 10 as a photographer, I decided that it was time to combine the things that I love most. I moved to Europe in 2017 and am currently based out of Kaiserslautern, Germany. Since then, I’ve traveled to many different countries, interacted with thousands of enthusiasts, and participated in countless events. It is because of all of you that I was inspired to create AutoWerk.
Automotive photography is a highly specialized niche of the photography industry. It requires a deep appreciation and love of everything that it encompasses. To the enthusiast, a car is much more than just a mode of transportation, or a physical object. It has emotion, memory, and it represents freedom. To those that design and build them, they are their life’s work. To those that buy them, they are a source of happiness. A canvas on which their personalities are to be painted. A living, breathing partner with whom life-long memories are made. It is the focal point that brings people from all walks of life together and builds community.
